Are any "Fortean" subjects compatible with Christianity?

Please define it

What exactly does "Fortean" mean as an adjective?!

These topics are totally consistent with Christianity. Anyone who believes in the biblical fables (immaculate conception, for example) is dumb enough to believe anything.

To Rico Suave

Well, I think I defined the subject reasonably well in the introduction to the poll.

The word "Fortean" actually comes from someone's name. It was Charles Fort, an eccentric Englishman who had a lifelong interest in these weird subjects, collected accounts, and wrote about them.

Fortean subjects are (broadly speaking) anything weird. Specifically, UFOs and aliens, cryptozoology, weird science, ghosts and hauntings, ESP and telepathy, conspiracy theories, oddities, and the like. You will get a better idea if you visit their website www.forteantimes.com

Are you sure Charles Fort was English? I thought he was Dutch-American.
