Terribly Biased Poll Questions

This poll is pro-abortion and does not take into account the other rulings on Roe v. Wade (1973) in the USA. Roe v. Wade made an additional ruling besides making abortion legal. It also ruled that a woman has a right to her own body. Therefore, the mother has the freedom of choice whether or not to become a mother. This gave women a whole new package of civil rights called Reproductive Rights.

The father of the child on the other hand, has no such civil liberty as Reproductive Rights. If the women decides to give birth to the child and keep it as her own; the father, often a teenage boy himself, is legally liable to pay child support until the child finishes college (usually age 22 or later). If he is unable to pay, he can be jailed. If he is still a minor, his parents must pay the child support.

For a women, it is a source of income while she attends college, and achieves higher professional status. For a man, it holds him back before he is able to achieve his education and higher income jobs. It also gives him an arrest and prison record. For the child, all that he knows is that his father never wanted him, because the wench that gave birth to him has turned him against his father, because he didn't wish to marry her.

Regarding the rape and incest argument: the true victim of a sex crime would report to the emergency room where D & C (Dilation & Curettage) is performed, cleansing and flushing out of the uterus all of its contents. Thus, even a conceived embryo would be discarded.

Roe v. Wade is the epitome of feminist selfishness. A man should also have Reproductive Rights under the US Constitution. If the women decides to keep the child full term and raise it as her own, a man should have right to put his half of the child up for adoption, and not be held responsible for child support payments for 22 years for a teenage "roll in the hay".
