Punishment For Rape

If the world is to be saved from senseless wars, rampant crime, destruction of environment and other male aggressive behaviour women must take over and make males subservient to them. There's no other way how we can save the planet. Man is evil by nature and must be controlled by the more sensible woman.

You should read Sultana’s dream, if you haven’t already. It’s the most wonderful story of feminist utopia I’ve read. An ideal world where women have total control over everything, including men, and it is accepted as natural and right.

Indeed, the idea of a Ladyland, a country, or at least a province or a town, just for women, is very appealing. Of course I know, that not all evil comes from men like in Sultana's Dream, but there would be much less, that's for sure.

Dear Texas Ranger, you misunderstood me. I do not seek control over men. As long as they don't make trouble I am completely indifferent towards them. No, I do not hate men, I just want freedom from male violence and domination, if you want: I want freedom from violence and discrimination and fair chances for everyone, also for men. It's just unfair that women have still so little protection and less chances than men. A woman always needs to be twice as good as a man to get the same. So for some time a affirmative action is required, even if it might be temporarily unfair towards men. What's 15, 20 years against thousands of years?

To the topic of this thread: punishment for rape should be harsh (prison of 1-15 years, depending on the case) and trials should be swift and fair for the victim.

You're wasting your time. Texas Ranger (aka Toa) is not interested in a discussion. He only wants everyone to disregard female rape victims, and focus all their attention on male rape victims. I have told him repeatedly that I agree that males can also be victims, and need to be treated as such, but that's not good enough for him. He has claimed repeatedly that as many males are raped by females as there are female victims of male rapists, despite the fact that there is no evidence to suggest such numbers. I have no issue with people disagreeing, or discussing contrary points here, but I do insist they not be insulting or derogatory to other posters. I have warned Toa repeatedly, but he doesn't care. When you disagree with him, or challenge his points, he will become insulting and derogatory. He has tried several times to flood other polls with insulting posts designed to chase people away because they do not agree with him.

I told him he should start his own poll about the subject of male rape victims, but he's clearly demonstrated he would much rather come here (and other polls) and denigrate and insult people then have a constructive dialogue. Whether this is because he is unwilling, or unable to do so no long matters to me. I am tired of his insults, so I delete his posts. I have left the one to which you replied so that I do not destroy the flow of this thread, but be warned. He is not interested in a dialogue.
