I am a mother, I am 20, and spank my 3yo girl quite often. I think the key is for it to not only be bare, but be painful. I used spanking as part of her potty training and she learned very quickly to avoid spankings. However, she still wets at night sometimes. This is problematic because we often sleep in the same bed. I would love any suggestions on how to prevent this...

I don't think you can prevent her wetting. But do keep beating and hurting her till she learn to behave the way you want her to behave.
You have chosen this way so don't hold back, just keep going and she will learn.
