Cognitive Dissonance in Relation to Religion

Thanks

for this poll! I think it's great. Most of the most religious people I know show "Cognitive Dissonance"; that is they are HYPOCRITES!

They like to make other people follow rules they themselves don't follow.

There are only 2 exceptions (my aunt & my dad). Otherwise, the highter the prudish, judgemental nose in the air, the more hypocritical and asinie these "religious" folk are!

I also think this poll was awesome the best one I took on this website yet. However, I also have to say as a "religious" person. Those standards are standards that people like yourself hold us to. I and many religious people I know never said we were perfect and without fault. However, whenever we do wrong someone is always throwing it in our face. Most religious people I know never tell others how to live either. What I found is people feel uncomfortable around religious people because there is some guilt on their part and then they blame the religious person for making them feel guity about some standard that the religious person never held them to in the first place.
