Does anyone remember them? They were overshoes originally developed for women in the late 40s. They consisted of a thick vinyl type shoe cover that were designed to protect the shoe beneath them with a looped fastener that would fold over the top. They were popular up until the 70s before they faded out. They were primarily clear, so the wearer would show off the shoes they were meant to protect. They are still practical. There have been numerous styles since then. Originally marketed as Drizzle Boots. They were then manufactured by different companies.
