If he is really against the absurd "war against drugs" he should be encouraged, though his ideas on Economics are primitive. The drug prohibition is counterproductive, but the Criminal Justice system is a growth industry as a result, with huge profits to lawyers. Drug money is also one of the principle sources of revenue for the terrorists so the "war against drugs" is financing the enemy.
