Swimming naked in public pools

Today here PE and team showers are not required to be taken naked, many guys feel uncomfortable being naked in front of other guys. Many young guys think it is gay to be naked in front of naked men. How would you feel about swimming nude at an indoor pool? At one time it was mandatory.
