A Logitech spokesperson confirmed via email that the hybrid switches in the G502 X send two signals—one from the mechanical switch and one from the optical switch—for each time a person clicks, but Logitech did not respond to any of our follow-up questions about how the mouse prioritizes or interprets those signals.
