Guys - how hairy are you?

I had perhaps a little more than normal-body hair- I never gave it any thought. I am 48-- even my wife has commented that I have more back and butt hair than when I was younger-- I had thought so also-- but thought I must be wrong-- but when she has mentioned it -- it must be so. Is it normal for a guy to get more coarse hair on one's back and butt as you age? I know this sounds like an odd question. I have even looked at my friends after we play sports-- I think it may be happening to a lesser cegree to a couple of them.
