it really depends on some of these discipline questions like how bad of a thing that they did or how small of a thing that they did bc kids will be kids!! but they do need discipline

Yes I agree. Like for ages 6-10 that is such a distance of age that they can grow out of time outs at age 7 or so. And spankings should only be used for serious things. I think what works the best is taking privelidges away!
