It says in the Bible that God created man in "his" own image. But it seems to be more the case that the opposite is true, and man created God in HIS own image!

Certainly Man created what he likes to call "god" - how else would all these people have their own idea of what or who God is, all without any Biblical basis (apart from some very selective reading).
I found a lovely quote, sadly unattributed: "You know your god is man-made when he hates all the same people you do".
God the Creator is far too big to be put into any man-made box.
