Cloning Ethics

cloning

I believe that cloning can be useful for creating organs for transplanting. The ability to grow organs to order would eliminate waiting lists and the need for surgery on organ donors. The major problem with cloning seems to involve growing entire human beings. Are clones property of the "manufacturer"? Are they truely human? Do they have the same rights as natural born people. Although science fiction came in low on this poll, the GELFS from Seaquest DSV, the tanks from Space Above And Beyond and the status of genetically engineered human beings leads me to believe that cloned human beings would, at best, second class citizens and at worst, slaves.
