Presidential Election

examine these stats

Take a look at these statistics from this poll as of January 27, 2001:

56% voted for Bush 29% voted for Gore

35% thought Bush should concede if Gore was in the lead in Florida. We can probably assume that all 29% who voted for Gore believe this, so that means 6% of the Bush or Other voters who took this poll said Bush should concede if Gore was in the lead.

87% said Gore should concede if Bush was in the lead. If we assume that all 56% who voted for Bush are here, that means 32% of the Gore or Other voters believe Gore should concede if Bush was in the lead.

What does this tell us?

That Gore voters are fair, and most Bush voters are not. Gore voters want the person who is losing to concede even if it is their candidate. They want everyone to play by fair rules.

Bush voters are not fair. They want Gore to concede if he is losing, but want Bush to keep fighting if he is losing. They have different rules for their candidate than the opponant.

What that tells us is that you didn't read the questions very well. Typical.
