What is the meaning of life?

I guess if came right down to it- the answer we learned back in Catholic school in the early 50's sums it up--To know love and serve God so as to be happy with Him in heaven" I have not always doen that- but I believe it and do try to do it. When you look at all the teachings of Jesus it comes down to that. I will admit you can still have a lot of fun in life and still do that in your heart of hearts.
