Pierre,

I think that if you run on gravel or a place where you could step on glass or metal objects like nails, you will soon learn that you would rather run with shoes in these places. On the other hand, if your friends see that you are faster than they are, they will also run barefoot.

Please take my poll on bare feet and more at an indoor pool. Would you swim faster without wearing a bathing suit? Once it was mandatory. Check out this link:
