Used to be a tv show about a lad who had friends who got him into trouble and had a nickname based on animal common in Canada. His dad drove a funkiy Dodge and his mother always dressed up and spent way too much time on the phone with Beave's lesbo teacher. The show was 50 years ahead of it's time.

I'm old enough to remember that show. Had that Beave behaved like the modern day Beave has done, his young Beaver-tail would've been whupped. I don't recall a show specifically that involved him being spanked but there were I remember implied spankings would be given. That was a discipline norm in that era.
