Parents and Children Going Barefoot

I live in India. My daughters are always barefoot, both inside and outside. I make them go barefoot all year round, to school, to the city, everywhere. They have very tough soles.

are they barefoot since birth everywhere? What would be the rules if you have to chance to a cold place or make winter holidays at a snowy place?

Yes, they have never worn shoes or any kind of footwear ever in their life. We don't go to places where it is too cold for them to be barefoot.
