Hazing

It was a long while ago that I was in high school and we were hazed as new team members. The upper classmen- took us out to county park that was very wooded and rough terrain-- and while they threatened to do terrible things to us-- thye paddled our bare butts and it hurt but no one was injured-- it was a small high school so we had known the upperclassmen all our lives and many were older brothers or older cousins etc. So it was not much real humiliation - it hurt but not anything really bad. So I would have to say my incident was no big deal. However, I will not endorse hazing as I have reead of people being badly hurt or terribly humiliated I think that is wrong, and should be stopped whether in high school or college.. My own experience was typical small town stuff. that never hurt anyone.
