Should motorcycle riders wear helmets?

The poll deals with individual choice and fairness under our system of laws.

Personal freedom extends to the point it infringes on the rights of others. I had a right to play loud music until it harms the right of my neighbor to enjoy peace and quite. Helmets are like that. From the data I have read motorcyclists are underrepresented in the social burden of the seeking medical care on the public dole.

I feel the most effective way to end such silliness is to enact a helmet law for cagers. If they are affected they will rally to the cause quickly.

I choose to ride with a skid lid. But that's the point, it was my choice.

again, I agree.... we have been toying with the idea of a bill that would be put on the floor, to have car drivers wear one.... might do it yet.
