That's what we've found. The lads seem more self conscious than the girls. They're all mixed lessons but the lads have gone from wearing speedos to wearing long shorts whereas the girls have gone from wearing one piece swimsuits to wearing just bikini bottoms - it gives us an extra few 10ths off our times and is competitive!

Interesting, 20 years ago shaving pubic hair wasn't as popular, but it was becoming more and more, and in a few more years it would take over

Yes I agree - most of the girls we saw back then had pubic hair and some clearly just left it. Some were becoming aware and the trend as you say, was moving towards trimmed or even clean shaven, but most of the girls who took their knickers off for swimming certainly had a lot of hair visible in those days.
