Leotards - Sexist and Outdated?

We have to wear leotards for dance & gym and they are very practical. If we forget our gear we have to use school leotards and they are always crisp in the crotch area and we are not allowed to wear nix underneath. I dont think they have ever been washed properly. GROSS!!!We wear PE skirts and own nix for all other sports.Its an all girls school so we are not bashful.

I'me a boy and at our school all the boys wear a small black leotard for all of our activities no mater if its tennis, gymnastics or dance. We only get to wear a leotard and shoes but the girls get to pick betwene a leotard or a skirt and t-shirt.

I feel so embaresed every time when I have PE.
