The reason for having a free democracy is to encourage competition. When "they" have what we want at "our" price, we buy. When "they" don't, "we" don't. I'm not exactly happy with the fact that I HAVE to buy certain products to get certain things done at a reasonable price, because Windows is the prevalent structure. I'm just as free either not to buy, or to buy something else at a higher price or that won't do what I need it to do. The name of the game here is "choice." Do you want a choice? Or do you want the government to dictate to you what your choices are?

So what you are saying is that Microsoft is offering you a choice? By using illegal pricing, licensing, and software bundling techniques, you have more options in what you can buy? Consumers should not be misled in thinking that Microsoft represents a "standard" that we must all adapt to. Standards are industry-accepted practices that benefit all companies and consumers equally, they do not provide profit for one company.

Adopting to one company's software is like thinking we should all drive GM cars. The Department of Justice is trying to keep the roads open for all manufacturers to compete, not just the largest and richest company. Investigate into how Microsoft runs their business, not what exciting ad campaigns they run!!!

Could someone tell me a little more details about microsoft office? How useful can it be for me and where can I get it?

The specialists of this company are constantly ready to help me with any questions, and this is incredibly valuable to me. I hope you will find this very useful for yourself!
