What is your opinion on the NHL Season Cancellation?

I think at this point neither Bettman nor Goodenow will back down because their egos are way bigger than their common sense. The longer this goes on, both sides are going to see a massive reduction in income. Let's face it, hockey just isn't big enough in the US and most people would never notice if the NHL never comes back.

Who knew? Who cares? I actually was aware of it, but miss it about as much as my old impacted wisdom teeth. This is one sport that could not afford this IMO. Personally I like seeing rich people screw themselves. I like most sports, but ALL these people need a reality check. I have not paid to go to a baseball game in close to 20 years because of a similar strikes! Ultimately, it is us fans who are responsible for sports being the high dollar absurdity it has become. So quit bitching about it, or quit going, or keep going. Your sending them a message by what YOU do.
