The Metroid Prime series is not a FPS. Being in first person does not make the game a shooter. And neither does having a gun nessissarilly. It is a first person action game (FPA). Anyone that has ever played any of the previous Metroid games can feel the same old school progressive action in the Prime series. Action game. Plain and simple.
