I have launched a sequel to the original poll âÂÂPhysical Examination for Kids: Quality and Value for Money (http://www.misterpoll.com/polls/351624).â The results of this poll indicated that most parents valued thoroughness of examination over anything else. Some of the parents were quite disturbed when the examination was not conducted as per their expectations, in particular, when the kids were not appropriately undressed for the examination. Some parents expressed suing their pediatricians for misconduct if the kids were not completely undressed for examination. I, personally, feel this is happening because of inadequate preparation before the check up and a lack of communication of parentsâ expectations to the physicians. I am, therefore, attempting to include steps to do before going to the doctorâÂÂs office and drafts of letter to help parents communicate key information, i. e., brief history, areas they wish the physician to look for, advice from physician, and mode of conduct of examination. Please use these letters and let me know their effectiveness through this poll. Thanks!
Address of this poll is: Physical Examination of Kids: Parentsâ Expectations on Quality 2 http://www.misterpoll.com/polls/450441
