Why don't Generation x'ers attend spiritual gatherings ?

I recently found that 70 % of Generation X (born after 1964) has never attended a church, synagogue, mosque, temple, and the like even for a wedding or funeral. So what's the deal ?
I have never been to a church, synagogue, mosque, temple, etc. because:
I have so this survey is irrelevant.
I don't care about organized religion/spirituality.
I have better things to do with my time.
I'd be bored to death.
I don't need to go to a gathering to be spiritual.
Music is my religion.
My parents aren't too bright.
I read about it and it doesn't appeal to me.
I'll go before I die.
I don't need to have my mind warped.
I read spiritual books at home.
It's outdated.
