GOP Stupidity

If someone identified themselves as a member of your political party, but agreed with a viewpoint that the mainstream of your party disagreed with, would you still consider them an equal member of your party? Apparently, the Republican answer to that question is "no way". Recently, at the North Carolina Republican Convention, the Log Cabin Republicans were not allowed to set up a booth. The GOP group is the only branch of the Republican Party that supports gay rights. According to the NC Republican platform homosexuality is "just not normal".

Did the Log Cabin Republicans deserve to have their own booth at the NC GOP Convention? (Why or why not in message area)

Why is it that Democrats will accept you in their party whether you are gay, straight, black, white, Christian, Atheist, and so on and so forth, without asking questions?

Republicans only seem to look out for straight, white, Protestants
