Chaplin or Keaton?

Does Charlie Chaplin wear the championship belt for silent comedy? Or does Buster Keaton tumble into 1st place?
First of all, who gets the most laughs out of you?
Chaplin
Keaton
Who takes it for inventiveness/creativity?
Chaplin
Keaton
Do Chaplin's films get too sentimental for your comedy tastes?
Not at all! It's a big part of what makes his films stand tall above the others!
Kind of. It interrupts the flow of gags.
Does Buster rely on too much acrobatic comedy for your tastes?
Of course not! I never get bored of seeing him jump & fall all over the place!
Sometimes. It gets kind of old, I think.
Character traits. Chaplin's outward feet or Keaton's stone face?
Those feet kill me!
The stone face idea is brilliant!
Comic timing. Who's more greatly mastered it?
Chaplin
Keaton
Here's a slightly peculiar one. Chaplin's love of dream sequences, or Buster's love of trains?
The dream sequences are always entertaining!
The funniest things happen on those trains!
Oh, those dreadful talkies. How they can ruine a person's career. Chaplin hit it big with The Great Dictator, but the reviews went downhill after that. Things might have been different had Chaplin not been smart enough to pretty well stay silent until 1940. Buster suffered much worse once the 20s were through. But all in all, excusing The Great Dictator, who's had the best "talking duds"?
Chaplin
Keaton
I haven't seen any of their "talking duds"

I'd like to continue with the film vs. film battles, but it isn't quite a fair way to judge, since everyone has their own opinion on which two films are almost equal in quality. So on to the next question: Character personality. Who's the more likeable clown?
Charlie
Buster
Cleverness?
Chaplin
Keaton
Range?
Chaplin
Keaton
Better singing voice? Haha, kidding. Better story plots?
Chaplin
Keaton
Better directing skills?

They're both geniuses on the whole, in my opinion. What about your opinion? Rate Chaplin's overall genius on a scale.

One last question about those two before I get some stats from you. Who has a greater amount of flicks (including shorts) in their filmography that you really enjoyed? You can take time to tally this up if you like, or just make an estimate.
