Kids and Pajamas

Pajamas are a peculiar adornment of childhood. For me, wearing pajamas recalls placid Saturday mornings watching cartoons and munching cereal. Of roughhousing with siblings at bedtime and exploring my grandparents' rambling old house. Attitudes towards pajamas are hard to gauge with kids. My 9-year-old daughter hates being fussy and just wears sweats or boxers. My "cool" skateboarding son is 11 but loves his footed pajamas. What do you remember about your pjs as a school-aged kid?
