I believe that the average American high school student I have encountered is extremely well prepared to handle academic subjects.
Absolutely not! I could not disagree more.
A few are well prepared but most are not.
About half seem well prepared but the other half are lost causes.
Almost all the American students I have encountered seem to be well prepared.
I have found the amount of homework I am required to do at my American high school is about at the same level as that of the high school I was attending in my country.
This statement nearly perfectly describes my current experience.
Are you kidding! I get NO homework here in the U.S.
Let's put it this way, I get so little homework here in the U.S. that I can easily do it directly before class.
One teacher gives a lot of homework but most certainly do not.
I get almost as much homework assigned as I did in my country.
American students behave themselves in the classroom.
I completely agree with this statement.
I think American students are wild and undisciplined.
A small number of Americans are well behaved, but a large percentage are out of control.
About half are well behaved; the other half are awful.
A high percentage are well behaved with only a small number being unruly.
The teachers I have encountered in my American high school seem to be quite knowledgeable in the subjects that they are teaching.
You must be joking! They seem to lack understanding of many basic concepts in their respective fields.
One or two have seemed knowledgeable but most are not.
About half seem knowledgeable; the other half are not.
Most seem quite knowledgeable; only one or two have seemed to lack knowledge.
They are the most knowledgeable group of teachers one can imagine.
