Withholding Sex From Men

I am currently studying the play Lysistrata. In the play, Athenian women, fed up with the Peloponnesian War, barricade themselves in the Acropolis and go on a sex strike to force their husbands to vote for peace with Sparta. My paper needs to be about if this applies to the 21st century or not. So I need your help :)
