I recently watched Barbara Walters' special about heaven and was very impressed. I began wondering myself how many people believe the various viewponts she presented. Every perspective is welcome to answer in this poll, and if I have left yours out, please leave a message and I will edit my poll to include you.
Where do we go when we die?
Heaven or Hell.
Heaven, Hell, or Purgatory.
We are reborn in another life.
We wander the earth as ghosts.
Nowhere. We cease to exist.

What is Heaven?
A place with God where you live forever and there is no sadness.
All knowing contentment (enlightenment.)
A fictional place.

How does one get to heaven?
By accepting Jesus as their personal savior.
By living a good moral life being kind to others.
By being mindful and aware, releasing oneself from attachments and desires.
There is no heaven.

Not only by accepting Jesus as their savoir, but also by repentence, trust, and faith in Jesus.
What is Hell?
A place of eternal suffering by the hands of Satan.
Our exsistance right here on earth.
A life of suffering and sadness.
There is no Hell.
Not sure.
Eternal, conscious torment.
What causes one to go to hell?
Not believing that Jesus is your savior.
By living an immoral life and being cruel to others.
Just living...we're already here.
By giving into attachments and desires, and/ or being cruel to others.
Nothing. There is no Hell.
