Who are your favorite PEANUTS characters?
Charles Schulz has announced his retirement from the PEANUTS comic strip. This most popular comic strip has run for nearly 50 years, and its characters are known across the world. Some have come and gone as others have been introduced. Even though the strip will continue to be syndicated in reruns from previous years, who will you miss the most when there are no new adventures? (And my personal best regards and salute to "Sparky" Schulz for the wondrous enjoyment Peanuts has brought to so many.) NOTE: Charles Schulz passed away February 12, the very same weekend his final strip ran in Sunday newspapers. I wish to express my deepest sympathy to the Schulz family, his friends, fans (of which I am one) and colleagues, and once again my appreciation for so many wonderful years of enjoyment with Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the whole gang.
