I'd like to know about your experiences with U.S. and Canada air travel, especially if you've traveled with toddlers in your party. I'm planning a huge vacation this fall with my husband. However, our two year old son will be flying with us so that he can spend the week at Grandma's. He hates flying and makes the flight anything but peaceful, but no one locally can watch him. What do you think I should do with the travel arrangements?

My son is in his terrible two's. Tantrums are a given. Do you think I should spend the extra money (up to three times per each round trip coach ticket.) to fly more comfortably with my son or save my money in coach and suffer through it?
Spend the extra( first class is worth it, more comfortable.)
