Problem Solver #3 for Students

You are invited by a special friend over to your house for a holiday dinner, you ask him/her if it is OK with their parents, your friend tells you that you are welcome at their home anytime by their parents, since the family is very close to you. However, when you come to their home and ring the doorbell, the mother answers the door and greets you, and is very happy to see you, and you tell her that her son/daughter that you are invited over for the dinner, and she gives you a suprised look and tells you that she wasn't aware of the invite, she tells you that you are more then welcome to stay, but you feel uncomfortable being with the family, how would you solve this problem?

Stay for dinner.

STay for dinner, but explain to your friend that do not be afraid to ask his/her parents about it.

You are shopping at big mall, you stop at SPencers gifts, and you see this awesome clock that lights up very bright and has all the modern technogoly, you do not have quite enough money for the clock, and they are selling FAST. How can you solve this problem?

Ask if you can order it online and it can be sent to your home.

STeal the clock

You are in PE, this boy constantly drives you crazy and tells you about movies involving Superheros (Superman, Batman, etc) all the time, (he thinks Superheros are real) you do not like movies involving Superheros, and you can't take it no more. He continues to bug you about it, and you are about to have a nervous breakdown. How can you solve this problem?

Beat the kid up!

Tell the kid that you do not like Superheros and that's that.

You are watching your favorite game show at home, you oldest sibling takes the remote and changes the station, and you say to the sibling "HEY! I am watching that show!" and the sibling responds "It is such a dumb show, and it was just advertisement" You know quite well that you were watching the show, and it was NOT an advertisement. How can you solve this problem?

Take the remote back, and change back to the game show.

Have a big fist fight with the sibling.

Make a deal with the sibling, offer to watch the sibling's show the next day, and watch your show together today.

You are playing Monopoly in class with a classmate, s/he never played Monopoly before, but you are kind of shy to explain the game to the classmate, how can you solve this problem?

Ask the teacher to explain the game, the teacher should know how.

FInd another game to play.

Ask another classmate to expain the game.

You want to show health class a video about the dangers of teens drinking alcohol, and the teacher is very glad that you showed it to them, but some of the students thought it was stupid. How can you solve this problem?

Tell the teacher.

Explain to the students that it is an educational program, and recommend that they show a simalar show.

You have to do a research paper on something for Social Studies, but you do not know what to do the research paper about, how can you solve this problem?

Go to the library and hopefully you find something.

Ask the teacher and see if the teacher has some choices.

Don't do the reasearch paper.

This girl comes up to you crying because her best friend got killed in an accident, and she does not to go to the funeral because it will tear her apart. How can you solve this problem?

Go to the funeral with her.

Help her the best you can to comfort her.

Talk with her and both of her parents, and all of you go to the funeral.
