Anna Kournikova has been the Number one Doubles Tennis Player in the world in 1999. With her partner Martina Hingis they even defeated the #1 and #2 seeded women's players at that time. In singles play she has defeated some who had been ranked #1 and several in top 10. In one tournament alone the Lipton Championship she beat M. Lucic, (Straight sets), Monica Seles (Straight sets), Conchita Martinez ( straight sets), beat Lindsay Davenport (in 3 sets) She lost to Venus Williams after Anna had won the first set though.(6-2,1-6,3-6) Anna has also beaten in other tournaments Stefi Graf, Martina Hingis, Jennifer Capriati, Arantxa Sanchez Vicario, Sanrine Testud, Patty Schnyder, and others. So why do people claim she can't play Tennis? She has won $3,584,662 in prize money. So how can they say she is a loser?
