Please take this poll to say what children's blindfold games you play or played. In Japan there is fukuwarai and suikawari. Fukuwarai is a new year game. Players are blindfolded and place parts (nose, eyes, ears, lips) on a face outline. Suikawari is played at picnics and other events, very popular in summer. Player is blindfolded and has a long stick. There is a watermelon on plastic or cloth on ground. Someone spins the player around and people tell the player where to aim. Each player gets one swing. Everyone eats watermelon when it is smashed. In the United States I learned new games and I look forward to learning more. I like being blindfolded and also blindfolding others very much. When I would become nervous and upset, my mother would blindfold me with her scarf and I would immediately calm down. She would make a game of it for both of us. It was particularly effective at the doctor and dentist. Was anyone else blindfolded like this?
