What are your primary reasons for being a Holdeman? (Select one or more options).
It is Christ's One True Visible Church and for me to leave would result in the loss of my salvation.
It is where I was born and raised and I feel comfortable being a Holdeman.
I am afraid what would happen to my children if I/we left.
The Holdeman church is not Christ's One True Visible Church, but it is the right one for me.
I like the potlucks and social life and don't want to have 'the avoidance' held on me or my family.

The Stoppels and others have pointed out that the Holdeman teaching on the flesh of Christ ('in Mary' but not 'of Mary') is not in accordance with what orthodox Christianity has historically taught (Christ took his flesh from Mary). What is your belief on this issue?
Christ did not take his flesh from the virgin Mary.
It makes no difference to me where his flesh came from.
Christ took his flesh from the virgin Mary.
Relating to the previous question, does the fact that the early church fathers (many of whom have been officially recognised by the Holdemn church as having held to the true Christian faith) denounced those who reject the belief that Christ took his flesh from Mary as heretics cause you to call into question the 'unbroken lineage' theory of the Holdeman church?
