Are any "Fortean" subjects compatible with Christianity?

Here in England we have a monthly magazine called the Fortean Times. It deals with all the weird news - UFOs, ghosts, strange animals, mysteries, weird science, strange happenings etc. I think there is an equivalent magazine in the USA, called Strange.
Do you think it is possible for a Christian to be interested in any of these subjects? Are they off-limits for Christians? Are they quite simply Satanic? Or is it OK to be interested in these things, and still be a Christian? Give your opinions here!
