Do you allow your children to go Barefoot

For reasons not clear, children don't go barefoot as much as they did in years past. Some reasons are a link to poverty, safety, and fassion statements. Not withstanding I feel that children are being robed of one of the greatest joys anf freedoms of childhood, what do you think.
