School Uniform for Work

I recantly started a new job working in a news agents. I went for my interview after school and was still in my uniform. Later I got a phone call and was offed the job. when i asked what i should wear the owner said because i was starting strait after school i could stay in my school uniform (Tie, Blazer and Jumper). I have been working their for 2 months and now the owner has asked me to wear the work jumper insted of my school jumper but to keep wearing my blazer and shirt. I was wondering if anyone else also wears their uniform for work? It would be interesting to see if your school allows this or do you have to get changed first?
