I am creating a web application that will allow people to process their audio files (WAV) through various analog tube gear. The processing will be in non-realtime, but they will also be able to see the equipment VU meters via webcam and be able to control the devices with servos. My question is would this be of any use to anyone? Would people making music be interested in using a tube compressor or Neve EQ without owning one, for free, or for a small fee?

Yes, but for a fee it would have to be damn good quality and fast, and I would need total control over the device.
No, digital plugins nowadays far surpass the quality of tube equipment, there is no need.
Yes, but I would need to be able to do a quick preview before waiting to upload a 25mb WAV file.
