The Virginia General Assembly has passed S.817, a bill authorizing the CHOOSE LIFE special license plate, which has a pro-life, anti-abortion message. The plate would cost $25, with $15 going to International Heartbeat, a "Christian interdenominational" organization whose vision is, "to help create a world where every new life is welcomed … according to God’s Plan, so that abortion is unthinkable."
