Random poll: i hate being Barefoot

As you see, i am 'Random Poller' so i make random polls. This is my first so i hope you like it. Ok, i hate being barefoot. I am embarresed to show my feet. I do go swimming though, and yes, i do shower. I do dance in school (less than a year to go until i dont have to do it because i didnt pick it as an option) and we MUST do it barefoot. Now, i feel really uncomfortable when doing it. I wear socks and trainers on the beach and whenever i have a shower, i put socks on, even if its almost bedtime. Anyway, i want to know if you can help?

I hate being barefoot but my friends and girlfriend encourage me to try it. Should i go barefoot more often?

Not like being barefoot started when i was little but i cant remember why. Over the last couple of years, my parents have tried to make me go barefoot more often, but in the last 2-3 years, they havnt bothered, but i dont think they have forgot so what could i say to them? Heres my ideas: I grown out of it Ive started to go in my room now and then. Have you got any others?

My girlfriends parents introduced the Barefoot Rule a couple of days ago and shes uncomfortable with it even though she doesnt mind being barefoot. She just doesnt like doing it all the time. Shes quite shy so she doesnt often come round to mine so i go to hers. She knows i dont like being barefoot and since she has the Bf rule, shes beginning to dislike being barefoot. But she wonders why i still go to see her. Love. So is there anything we can do together to beat our dislike of being barefoot?

Have you got any other tips on how i can beat my dislike of going barefoot?
