Animal Cruelty.

I just read about the "crush" videos where people (mainly women) would crush kittens with the heels of their shoes (stilettos mostly), and was shocked to find out that one of the people that was found guilty for this horrible act only got probation and community service. Do you think that he should have gotten a stricter sentence?
