I need to find bible passages, suggestions needed please
I have to find two bible passages as a punishment and I have to copy them 500 times each. The reasons are as follows,
1. I got detention for not doing my homework.
2. I told lies about getting the detention and forged my father's signiature on the detention slip.
I need to find a bible passage about the importance of telling the truth and anopther bible passage about the importance of study and hard work. Please help, thank you. This is not a joke and I need the suggestions by Friday.

With regard to the length of the verse, do you think that writing it 500 times is a fair punishment?
