Guys: What underwear should I be wearing?

I just turned 18 and want to pick the underwear that I will wear for life. I need some help. I have tried everything from boxers to thongs. I will not choose boxers or boxer briefs. I also wear both boardshorts and speedos, so I'm all over the place. I want to make a decision, so whatever u guys pick I will wear. Oh, and I'm not gay.
