Short is Beautiful (Height Myth in Women)

Being short does not necessarily mean being large nor is there a tendency for this and being tall does not necessarily mean being shapely and there is no tendency for this. Also, clothes do not look better on a tall woman. The average heigt of an adult female is 5'4". And, not to put down tall women (nor short men as shortness is a feminine trait), but tallness is a masculine trait. Women 5"6" and under include Jayne Mansfield, Marilyn Monroe, Dorothy Lamour, Virna Lisi, Gina Lollobrigida, Mamie Van Doren, Ursulla, Andress, Rhonda Fleming, Ava Gardner, Raquel Welch, the Gabor Sisters, Ann Margret, Susan "Tuesday" Weld, Bo Derek, Rebecca DeMornay, Pamela Anderson, Kirsten Dunst, Selma Hayek, Evangeline Lilly, Megan Fox, Cheryl Ladd, Jessica Simpson, Shanae Grimes, Shania Twain, Catherine Zeta Jones, Kelly Ripa, Kelly Monaco, dancers Edyta Sliwinska, Karina Smirnoff, and Julianne Hough, strippers Blaze Starr, Sally Rand, and Tempest Storm, erotic star Ivy Black, and the list goes on and on. In fact, most of the shapeliest stars are short as would be expected. The fashion industry discriminates against short women based entirely on a silly caprice, myth, and misconception.
