Withnail and I vs The Hangover

Two cult comedies related to drinking. Withnail and I is British and an old film, while the Hangover is American and a recent film. Personally, I would say that Withnail and I is much better than the Hangover. The acting talents of Richard E Grant and Paul McGann (along with Richard Griffiths and Michael Elphick) were much better than the so-called four main "actors" from the Hangover. Also, the "comedy" in the Hangover was too crude and near the bone for my liking. I don't want to get on the wrong side of anyone here but I just thought this would be an interesting film debate.
